First Coast has produced this manual to assist direct data entry (DDE) providers who have access to the DDE application. This manual does not include billing information.

This new interactive “Direct Data Entry (DDE) user ID request form” has been revised. This form is intended for provider use only and replaces previous DDE enrollment forms. Previous forms will not be accepted as of August 16, 2022.

DDE is designed for Medicare Part A providers. DDE will allow you to perform the following functions; claim entry, claim correction, claim status, claim adjustments, and inquiries.

DDE recertification began resuming in January. Recertification's are being be mailed to the Physical Location address provided in Section 4 of the Provider Enrollment Chain and Ownership System (PECOS) and MUST be signed by the Authorized or Delegated listed in PECOS.
