Effective May 11, CMS required that providers using a third-party vendor to conduct their beneficiary eligibility transactions through HIPAA Eligibility Transaction System (HETS) must attest to their relationship. Follow the HETS EDI Enrollment Tool User Guide instructions to complete the required attestation. Please refer to the MLN Connects article for details. This is not needed for using the Eligibility feature in the SPOT portal.
