Tools and Resources

We offer innovative tools and resources designed to help you stay knowledgeable, compliant, and confident in an increasingly complex regulatory environment.

  • The FastTrack to Medicare Coverage Policies tool provides step-by-step guidance to critical Medicare policy resources. The tool assists in mitigating risk for billed items and services and aligning documentation with regulatory guidance.

  • Use these compliance tools which consolidate multiple resources into easy-to-query solutions for claim preparation and submission to prevent billing errors:

    • Fee Schedule Lookup allows access to an interactive fee lookup tool for providers to stay up to date on the most recent fee schedule information.

    • NCCI Procedure-to-Procedure Lookup Tool helps providers identify when certain codes are subject to the automated code pair edits under the National Correct Coding Initiative (NCCI) Program.

  • CMS launched multiple new prior authorization program initiatives in 2026. Use the Prior Authorization Code Lookup Tool as a validation resource to determine if a code is subject to a prior authorization program.

  • Clinical documentation improvement (CDI) is a healthcare process ensuring patient records are accurate, complete, and clear, which aids in billing, reimbursement and quality care. Avoid common documentation gaps by utilizing First Coast's Medical Documentation Checklists. The checklists provide guidance for documenting services to comply with requests for submission of medical records.

  • SPOT is a free, secure internet-portal offering providers, billing services, and clearinghouses the ability to verify eligibility, monitor billing habits, and access reimbursement information to keep their organizations on track.

    • Obtain a detailed comparison of a provider's billing patterns:

      • The Provider Data Summary (PDS) contains comparative data compiled from claims finalized over a designated report period.

    • The Comparative Billing Report (CBR) furnishes a detailed examination of the comparative data that Medicare considers when determining how the provider’s billing patterns contrast with those of other providers of the same specialty.

  • Self-service tools provide instant results with a minimal amount of input. View our full listing:
