1. To exit the PC-ACE software program, click on the word File from the PC-ACE Main Toolbar and click on Exit.
2. You will be prompted to perform a backup each time you exit the PC-ACE software program. PC-ACE provides complete database backup and validation to protect your system data. All claims, reference files, and system configuration settings can be backed up to removable media (flash drive or writeable CD-ROM) or a standard Windows directory (i.e., drive, H drive).
It is strongly recommended to always keep a recent backup available. This will provide restore capabilities in the event of system failure or other compromise of PC-ACE database files. These backup facilities are designed to protect only the PC-ACE databases and configuration information. The program executable files and other support files are not included in the backup archive.
3. To complete the backup, select the destination drive or folder then click on Start Backup. You will be notified upon successful backup completion. For detailed information regarding the backup file created and/or the restoration of the backup information, refer to the complete PC-ACE manual available on the PC-ACE CD-ROM in the User Manual folder or included in the installation folder of the Internet download files.
4. If a backup is not desired at this time, click on Cancel to exit the program.
