2023 fee schedule updates for HCPCS 96380 and 96381

The AMA has approved two new CPT codes for the administration of nirsevimab, a monoclonal antibody designed to protect infants and toddlers from severe disease caused by respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) infection. Effective for dates of service on or after October 6, 2023, HCPCS codes 96380 and 96381 are considered payable codes under the Medicare Physician Fee Schedule.
The fees listed below apply for the administration of nirsevimab for dates of service on or between October 6, and December 31, 2023. Fees for service dates on or after January 1, 2024, are included in the 2024 Medicare Physician Fee Schedule.
