CMS has authorized waivers for the states of Florida and Georgia in response to the effects of Hurricane Michael and First Coast will accommodate providers who are located in affected counties. This article was updated December 12, 2018, to advise providers that these waivers expire January 5, 2019, for Florida counties and January 7, 2019, for Georgia counties.
