Local coverage determinations (LCD) / National coverage determinations (NCD)

First Coast, as the jurisdiction N Part A and B Medicare administrative contractor (JN A/B MAC), does not process claims for most DME. However, we are responsible for reimbursement to A/B providers for related professional services.

Most Florida, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands DME claims are processed by CGS Administrators as the DME MAC.
