EDI gateway mailbox password change
You need a mailbox ID and a password to use the Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Gateway system.
Mailbox ID
The mailbox ID was sent to your office via U.S. Postal Service. If you no longer have access to that information, you will need to contact the FCSO offices to request a new mailbox ID. Florida and U.S. Virgin Islands customers, please dial 888-670-0940. Puerto Rico customers, please dial 888-875-9779. Click here if you need more information about the mailbox ID.
Password
To protect data, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) requires you to change your password every 60 days. Before you complete this form ensure you have your mailbox ID and that your new password meets the specified criteria. Click here if you need information about the password criteria.
If your change was successful you will receive a message indicating the current date, time, and PASSWORD CHANGE SUCCEEDED.
If your change was not successful, and you are unable to determine the reason from the message you receive, note the error message and click here for Medicare EDI contact inforamtion.
