As the Medicare administrative contractor (MAC) for jurisdiction 9 (J9), First Coast’s services include claims processing, customer service, provider audit and reimbursement, provider enrollment, and the provision of provider education and resources.
Over the years, First Coast has developed a comprehensive knowledge of the intricacies of the Medicare program and has shared the benefits of its collective experience with members of its provider community. As the MAC for J9, First Coast is currently responsible for the provision of quality Medicare administrative services for physicians and health care providers located in Florida, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

The POE team offers providers several educational opportunities throughout the year, including numerous training webcasts, an annual Medifest symposium, and access to recordings of most webcasts. To complement the instructor-led training events held throughout the year, First Coast University
