Contacting the EDI and SPOT customer help desks
Different help desks are available for the different types of electronic billing questions. Carefully consider the type of assistance needed before dialing. Calls received to the incorrect help desk will be asked to call back using the correct telephone number. Review the list of topics handled below to help you decide what number to call.
EDI Help Desk: 1-888-670-0940 for FL/USVI and 1-888-875-9779 for PR available from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. ET/CT
- EDI enrollment questions (direct connections to First Coast using a third party or other non-portal related method)
- American National Standards Institute (ANSI) Accredited Standards Committee (ASC) X12N claim specifications
- Interpretation and resetting of electronic reports including the acknowledgments and Electronic Remittance Advice

When calling either of these help desks, always have the billing provider’s PTAN, NPI, and last five digits of the tax ID available.
