Introduction
The purpose of the First Coast Medicare provider websites, medicare.fcso.com(English) and medicare.fcso.com/es(Spanish) is to furnish Medicare news, information, and resources to providers. Site navigation for both provider websites has been designed to enable visitors to find the information they need as quickly and as easily as possible. This guide will focus exclusively on the navigation and layout of medicare.fcso.com.
Visitors to the First Coast Medicare provider website are required to set two information preferences upon entry:
- Use the toggle to answer the question: Are you a healthcare professional?
- If your answer is No, you will be presented with beneficiary information as well as links to Medicare.gov and claim assistance.
- Use the drop-down menu to select your area of interest: Part A (hospital insurance) or Part B (medical insurance)
- Click Continue to accept the agreement
Once these preferences have been set, information will be displayed in accordance with those preferences. For example, if a provider indicates their line of business is Part B, only articles, forms, and fee schedules pertaining to Part B providers will be displayed.
This feature enables providers to find relevant information they need more quickly, because they do not have to sift through information that does not pertain to them. Top navigation area: This section offers navigation links and tiles for quick access to tools and other topics.

Promotional area: This large area is frequently updated based on hot topics.

Events: This section features upcoming events, including live webinars for the provider community.

Welcome Providers: This guides providers to learn more about First Coast and also includes a link to our New Visitor Center.
- Footer: At the very bottom are options to stay connected to First Coast, via eNews, our YouTube channel, and more. Also located on the footer are links to a few main areas of the provider website, and helpful links such as a link to our site map*. Other resources available on the footer are First Coast’s terms of use, privacy policy, disclaimer, and corporate website. This area also provides a link to the CMS website, and badges that indicate ISO and compliance certifications.

*Note: When using the site map, a helpful tip is to use the find functionality in your web browser (typically CTRL+F on your keyboard). Simply enter the keyword you are looking for and all instances of that keyword will be highlighted on the page.

Top navigation overview
- First Coast logo: When you click on this logo from any page, it will return you to the homepage of the site.
- Utilities menu: Use these resources to login to our SPOT portal, access FAQs, view specialties or services-related content, as well as the following:
- Line of business: Change your line of business (Part A or B) any time. Note: To complete the A/B setting change, you must navigate to a different page on the website, the active page's content will not automatically change.
- Link to companion provider website: This link offers visitors quick access to the Spanish version of the provider website, medicare.fcso.com/es
- Join eNews: Subscribe to First Coast's free eNews communication newsletters by clicking at the top right or in the footer.
- Contact Center: Click the phone icon to quickly access the contact center for phone numbers, online contact forms, system status, and more.
- Search tool: This box, appearing on every page of the website, offers a global website search feature. Find out more on our search help guide.
