Proposed LCDs
The proposed Jurisdiction N (JN) LCDs are posted on our website.
Open meetings are to allow interested parties the opportunity to make presentations of information and offer comments related to new proposed LCDs and/or the revised portion of a proposed LCD that are in the 45-day open comment period.
Want to get involved? Submit written comments on a proposed LCD or register as a presenter to share your comments during our meeting.
Please read our open meeting fact sheet for more details.
Registration requirements
Our open meeting will be held via webinar only.
Presenters
Individuals interested in making a presentation on a proposed LCD must register online. Registration to be a presenter for the March 5 meeting is now open and will be closed at noon on Tuesday, March 3.
Please note: Presentations submitted will be made public and included as part of the comments in the proposed LCD record. As a Medicare Administrative Contractor (MAC) we are required to follow Federal Section 508 compliance guidelines, which includes documents published on our website. In addition to completing a financial disclosure/conflict of interest form, registered presenters will also be required to complete a disclosure form in order for us to publish and use their presentation as comments for a proposed LCD.
When submitting presentations:
- Speaking points and/or a summary of your presentation in a Microsoft Word document is preferred rather than a PowerPoint (PPT) slide presentation.
- Word documents and PowerPoint presentations are to be submitted in compliant Section 508 format. Please refer to the Section 508 website and click on the content creation tab for further information.
- PowerPoint presentations that do not meet Section 508 compliance requirements will be altered by the MAC to be Section 508 compliant. Non-compliant PowerPoint presentations will not be published to our website.
