Part B reimbursement fees: Transportation of portable x-ray equipment (R0070/R0075)
First Coast has adjusted the portable x-ray (PXR) transportation allowance to $266.22, effective for claims with dates of service on or after May 18, 2026.
This adjustment reflects First Coast’s ongoing evaluation of PXR reimbursement methodologies and consideration of the operational and cost factors associated with furnishing portable radiology services. The updated allowance applies to applicable PXR transportation service processed within the First Coast jurisdiction.

The final 2026 portable x-ray transportation payment rates have been updated using the Ambulance Inflation Factor (AIF) of 2.0%.
