Medicare Preventive Services: Wellness Visits

The Preventive Services series provides an overview of Medicare coverage requirements, patient and provider eligibility, and billing guidelines for a variety of preventive care services. The first webinar in our series focuses on the elements of the initial preventive physical examination (IPPE), the annual wellness visit (AWV) and the optional elements of these exams. We will use recently identified Comprehensive Error Rate Testing (CERT) program and medical review improper payment errors to highlight Medicare requirements, best practices and beneficial resources for billing and documenting these services.
