  • Allows for the immediate confirmation of receipt, electronic submission provides transaction confirmations

Are you trying to submit a claim electronically to First Coast?

Claim submission

CMS requires providers to submit their claims electronically. Please see the CMS IOM Pub. 100-04 Claims Processing Manual, Chapter 24, section 90 concerning the mandatory requirement for electronic claims submission.

Fiscal Intermediary Standard System (FISS)

Access to the FISS system allows customers to perform multiple billing functions such as keying claims via direct data entry (DDE), checking claim status, performing claim corrections, and much more.

Free software

Medicare offers the following software programs:

  • PC-ACE - free billing software for creating claims and translating reports
  • PC-Print - free software for interpreting and printing the X12N 835 electronic remittance advice (ERA)
