Q. Why does the EIDM (enterprise identity management system) help desk always tell me to contact the Medicare administrative contractor (MAC)?
A: In many cases, the external user support (EUS) help desk has eliminated the common EIDM-related reasons for your issue. A variety of issues are also outside the purview of the EUS help desk; the next available resource for resolving your issue is the MAC.
