Canceled claims posting to CWF for 2022 dates of service causing processing issues

Issue
An issue has occurred with canceled claims for dates of service (DOS) from January 1-March 21. The canceled claims have posted to the common working file (CWF). Any claims canceled for a 2022 DOS through March 21 would have been impacted.
This is causing various issues with different types of claims.
Inpatient and outpatient claims: Payment window editing rejects, such as C7113, C7120, etc. may be received incorrectly.
Skilled nursing facility (SNF) claims: May be receiving duplicate claim editing, U5600, incorrectly.
Preventive service claims: May receive reason code U5366 (service already performed) incorrectly.
Resolution
The issue has been corrected to stop posting canceled claims to CWF on March 21.
First Coast is working with CMS and the Fiscal Intermediary Shared System (FISS) for a solution to the canceled claims that have already been posted.
First Coast is currently waiting for a resolution and will provide additional information when it is available. .
