First Coast received questions from our providers asking when revalidation letters will begin mailing again. We want to inform you that revalidation activities have resumed.
First Coast has begun mailing revalidation letters and recommends that you wait for your revalidation letter before submitting your revalidation package.
Keep in mind, we mail revalidation request letters to those providers required to revalidate and to notify you of your designated due date. In addition to your due date, the letters also provide other pertinent tracking information and cover page to include with revalidation submissions.
While the intent of revalidations is to ensure compliance, revalidations are being completed in a phased approach so we can work with you to minimize payment disruptions and deactivations. We will not act without affording you appropriate time to respond.
We appreciate your patience as we move forward with resuming revalidation activities.
