Remittance advice FAQ
Q: May I view my remittance advice on the SPOT? What should I do if I need to request a duplicate copy of my remittance advice?
A: Yes. If you have a SPOT account, you already have access to online remittance information.
A remittance advice (RA) is a notice of payments and adjustments that Medicare contractors (e.g., First Coast Service Options) send to providers, billers, and suppliers after a claim has been processed.
Providers also have the following options available to retrieve or request duplicates of electronic remittance advice (ERA):
• Download free software to retrieve ERAs:
• PC-Print software -- Part A providers
• MREP software -- Part B providers
• Request a duplicate ERA by:
• Submitting a Remittance reload request for X12 v5010 form
• Contacting their billing service or clearing house for remittance reload requests
Note: For more information regarding RAs, please review the MLNŽ fact sheet: Remittance Advice Information: An Overview . To learn more about RA duplicate requests, please click here.

First Coast Service Options (First Coast) strives to ensure that the information available on our provider website is accurate, detailed, and current. Therefore, this is a dynamic site and its content changes daily. It is best to access the site to ensure you have the most current information rather than printing articles or forms that may become obsolete without notice.
