As part of the Medicare Part A appeals process and Qualified Independent Contractor (QIC) appeals demonstration, First Coast has identified unfavorable determination trends on reconsiderations that can be avoided by submitting your claim correctly the first time. Join us for a basic review of the appeals process and tips on avoiding both claim denials and unfavorable appeals decisions.
During this one-hour webinar we will provide:
An overview of the Part A appeals process and QIC demonstration
Outcomes of appeals and how to avoid unfavorable claim determinations
Resources to help you ensure favorable claim outcomes the first time

AAPC accepts hour for hour CMS CEUs when sponsored by CMS national or MAC offices. A certificate of attendance or completion with the CMS logo is necessary to show participation. To claim CEUs attendees will enter certificate information onto their CEU Tracker using the "No Index Number" option. A copy of the certificate does not need to be provided to AAPC unless the member is selected for verification purposes.
