Afternoon coffee break: Learn the keys to a successful MBI transition (A/B)

Tuesday, December 10, 2019

2:30-3 p.m. ET

Delivery language: Spanish

Starting January 1, 2020, Medicare claims must be submitted with the Medicare Beneficiary Identifier (MBI) only. If not, Medicare will reject claims submitted with the Health Insurance Claim Number (HICN), with a few exceptions.
Don’t miss out on this 30-minute learning opportunity to hear about ways you can obtain the MBI now and why you should be using the MBI in Medicare transactions before the deadline. Let us help you avoid the risk of Medicare claims rejecting after December 31, 2019.
To register for this event, you must have an account in First Coast University, our learning management system. Learn how to create an account if you don't have one.
Would you like to submit questions prior to this event? You may submit your questions in advance by emailing them to elearning@fcso.com. Please submit your questions no later than Dec 9.
AAPC accepts hour for hour CMS CEUs when sponsored by CMS national or MAC offices. A certificate of attendance or completion with the CMS logo is necessary to show participation. To claim CEUs attendees will enter certificate information onto their CEU Tracker using the "No Index Number" option. A copy of the certificate does not need to be provided to AAPC unless the member is selected for verification purposes.
Please click here for CEU documentation instructions.
