Claim Reopening Gateway now available

The FREE, self-service Claim Reopening Gateway is now available on the First Coast website! This exciting new tool requires NO enrollment or registration and is a web-based application allowing for automated submission of claim corrections. Entering the gateway is a quick and easy way to update claim data through the internet.

The facts

If you identify a clerical error upon receipt of remittance advice, the reopening gateway offers a convenient solution to providers, billing services and clearinghouses to correct and reprocess claims. The only requirements to use the gateway are to have internet access, have immediate access to a valid email address, and to validate the provider using the National Provider Identifier (NPI), Provider Transaction Access Number (PTAN) and the last five digits of the Tax Identification Number (TIN). Each time a user enters the provider information and email address, an email will be sent that contains a one-time PIN (OTP) code that will grant access to the gateway.
