Release of beneficiary eligibility information to providers

• Check current eligibility for beneficiaries, as well as eligibility for a previous date of service, through the interactive voice response (IVR) system pdf file.
• The Centers for Medicare & Medicare Services (CMS) mandates, if it is available, information must be obtained through the IVR. If you contact customer service for eligibility information, you may be referred back to the IVR.
